How to Change Your Facebook Primary Email Address
Every time you want to access your Facebook account, you must enter your email address. However, if you forget the password for that email address or just no longer use it, you can change it on Facebook.
Whatever the reason, your Facebook account should always be linked to your current email address. This is because Facebook provides you with important notifications if someone is attempting to contact you or gain access to your account, for example.
The good news is that you may change your email address on any device. However, the methods vary slightly.
On your computer browser
- Launch your web browser and navigate to Facebook.
- Use your existing email address to log in.
- On the Menu, look for the arrow icon in the upper right corner.
- Click on Settings & Privacy from the drop-down Menu.
